4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,507 ratings

After startling revelations about her family history, Sage travels to the River Run Mountains to help restore an ancient water source to the River Wolf Lands. It’s the least she can do, since her ancestors were indirectly responsible for the devastation caused to the River Wolf Clan by a malicious dragon centuries ago.

What she doesn’t expect is to find is her mate.

Wolf shifter, Patrick, is happy that past mistakes are being put where they belong. In…well…the past. However, when Sage, a descendant of the Stone Claw Clan, arrives in River Wolf Lands past and present collide.

Secrets long buried are unearthed and the descendants of the two clans, with the help of dragon shifter, Emilia, will do whatever it takes to find the truth.

Can past mistakes really be forgiven, and old wounds healed? Find out in River Run Wolf.

Emotional story for both Emilia and Magnus.
Finding out the how and why their father.
Losing parents once is enough only to find the truth and that involved digging up the remains only to butt him next to his wife and mate.
Wonderful characters with a lot of heart and love to share.

This was one of the best yet in this series. Sage was looking for answers and so was Emilia. So Sage, Emilia and Thorne went to the River Run Wolf Clan to seek answers to their pasts. When they got there, Sage immediately felt a connection to Patrick but would he take her to his grandfather to find out the answers they were seeking or would they all turn their backs on them. Would Patrick fell something for Sage too or would he blow it off and not care. This is the place where all will be found out or will it be a ruse and nothing will be solved and will they wonder forever what happened to their parents and where do they actually belong.????

While the story was a cute story I had a hard time focusing on it. The author has a way of making the fighting scenes end with an anticlimax. I knew what to expect after 21 books and there were no surprises.

Sage comes to help bring back a river to Patrick town. They are mates , her a bear ,he's a wolf. She wants to know more about the Stone Claw Clan . He just wants to help his mate find the past. It a good book by Harmony Raines . It's part of a series of books. There's a flight across the ocean to find information.

This series was very good, but each h story was longer and longer because you had to include background from the other stories. Maybe a little history before each story would work better, you could add to it as the series grew. It would be very helpful to be able to refer to it if you couldn't place a name in the story. I know I would find it useful, I've gone to your list of books to find history on a name I'd forgotten. Your actual story could be shorter, as you could stay on point. Thank you.

I've enjoyed all the Return to Bear Creek books. I've found them loving, interesting and humorous. The occasional (shifter) violence fits the culture of their society. Although this was one of the simpler, quieter stories, Patrick and Sage are beautiful people with a long family history of a feud between her Stone Claw Clan and his River Run Clan. But as fated mates they begin to overcome their family's past hostilities. A journey of foreign intrigue to settle the past and plans to create a new, united future is positive and joyful. However, this is the first of this series where typos and misused names detracted from the story. If these errors are corrected this book would easily be a four star rating.

I enjoyed this book, but was disappointed that Thorn and Magnus's names got mixed up and Thorn thought not to tell Chin Lee about the baby and in the next sentence was asking if the potion was ok for the baby. I'm not sure if there is another book to follow. Will wait see.

Having read all from 1-21 the stories do not disappoint. The characters are strong and mingle in all the stories, little comments "honey beer", dragons, beers, wolf's joining as friends, mates. Thank you and keep them coming. A little glimpse back to how the early characters are getting on. Fiona spread a wide net. Hope Ruby and Sapphi are mentioned to.
